HARD HEADED WOMAN

HARD HEADED WOMAN IS A GREAT READ AND A VERY UNIQUE STORY. TONI IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE HEROINES - SMART, SAVVY, STRONG-WILLED AND BEAUTIFUL. SHE HAS GIVEN UP HER OWN LIFE TO TAKE CARE OF HER FAMILY. SHE BECOMES INVOLVED WITH THE MAFIA IN NY AND THEN THE TEXAS RANGERS OUT WEST WHERE SHE GOES INTO HIDING WITH HER MOTHER. THROUGH IT ALL SHE REMAINS TRUE TO HERSELF - A HARD HEADED WOMAN! THIS IS ANOTHER WINNER FROM LAURA MARIE HENION AND A REALLY FASCINATING STORY WITH MANY TWISTS, TURNS AND SURPRISES.

Hard Headed Woman

Laura Henion is a wonderful writer. She has a knack of keeping you totally enthralled with the story line. The main character was strong and absolutely likable. The story was full of adventure and "fun" romance. The book is definitely written for the busy reader. I finished the book in 3 hours. It was so interesting I could not put it down. The author reminded a lot of Janet Evanovich style writing with a mix of James Patterson. Very well written and plot was great. I would highly recommend this book

Cop's Daughter: Victoria

Ms. Henion truly honors her family's law enforcement history with this extraordinary first novel! She has interjected some of the most interesting aspects of crime fighting into her story. She was apparently paying a lot of attention to her own family member's careers in police work. I would like to give this book to all the daughter's of law enforcement officers that I know. Ms. Henion weaves a suspenseful novel with threads of romance, family honor, and the special love and bond a daughter has for a father in law enforcement. I would recommend this book to all the father's too!! I truly enjoyed reading this first novel, and I can't wait for more to follow.

Lillian's Love

This book was great! I couldn't put it down. This is the first novel I read by Laura Marie Henion, but it definitely won't be the last. The main characters are well developed, likeable and interesting. The suspense kept me at the edge of my seat from the very beginning and I couldn't wait to find out the ending. The romance between Michael and Lillian added to the intrigue and the danger. If you want a great read full of suspense, mystery and romance, I highly recommend `Lillian's Love'.... You won't be disappointed.

Hard Headed Woman

In the book titled "Hard Headed Woman", author Laura Marie Henion writes an engaging story about a city girl with mob connections, and a country boy, who turns out to be a Texas Ranger. After several twists and turns, they naturally end up complimenting each other. The story is quick to draw you into its characters, and hold your attention while reading. The author's knowledge of law enforcement is central to the book and helpful in its degree of believable accuracy. I hope that there will be similar genre books from Laura, as I enjoy the fast pace of this type of story line.

Laura Marie Henion is truly talented and gives great insight on the everyday life of a law enforcement family. Cop’s Daughter: Victoria is a real page turner filled with well developed characters and fast paced suspense. A must read for those who enjoy reading, but don’t have a lot of time to do so. I absolutely couldn't wait for this intense story to unfold – I couldn’t put the book down. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. I highly recommend this one – you will not be disappointed!!!

Cop's Daughter: Lauren

Cop's Daughter: Lauren is another winner by Laura Marie Henion. The story is original and the suspenseful with a number of twists, turns and surprises. The heroine comes alive to the reader as she tracks the serial killer through a combination of strong police work and intuition with the help of her surbanan "love interest" counterpart. The book is thoroughly enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

Cop's Daughter's Victoria Mardullo was living a great life. She has a good job, a loving husband and a loving family. After her father is murdered and her husband goes missing in action in Iraq, she sets off on a dangerous path. A path that could alienate her from her family and her husband, assuming he is still alive. Victoria could lose everything she cherishes including her life. Laura Marie Henion is very adept at suspense. The tension in Cop's Daughter builds then twists around taking the reader on a ride. You will be on the edge of your seat as the story unfolds. The characters were well written and the plot intense. A must read for lover's of suspense.

"Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. The author's knowledge of "cop lingo" and emotions are evident from her family's law enforcement background. This advantage that she possesses comes through in her work, giving her legitimacy and soundness that the average writer cannot boast. The twists and turns, descriptions, kept me guessing and made the conclusion a complete surprise. Mystery seeking readers will be entertained by the gripping story of "Victoria" and her mixed up life of events. At times her life spins out of control; however, her strong will has command over all those around her. I highly recommend this book to any reader who loves romance, mystery, and suspense. I look forward in reading more books in the series "Cops Daughter."

It's the first in a series of suspense novels from the perspective of Policemen's daughters - a subject with which Ms. Henion is very well acquainted. The story is fast-paced with very interesting characters And, of course, a lovely cop's daughter heroine - Victoria. The suspense builds up as the story unfolds and keeps the reader guessing until the very end. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the next one - which I've just ordered!

Just Love Me

Just Love Me is a fast-paced thriller set in the beautiful locale of Hawaii. It's a quick and fun read with strong characters, a lovely heroine and a very interesting storyline. The author exhibits an excellent understanding of police work and procedures drawing on her own strong family background in law enforcement. I highly recommend this book and have purchased all the other books written by Ms. Henion.

The suspense and drama draws the reader into the web of deceit and betrayal. Character and plots that twist and turn keep the reader in suspense until the final pages. Well written, the reader becomes a transparent participant mingling with the characters as clues are revealed. This is truly a "must read" for anyone who enjoys mystery and romance.

"Cop's Daughter"

Excellently written from a law enforcement family members perspective. Just when you think you have relied on all of the expertise you have acquired through the author to identify the killer, another suspect comes into view and you begin to question your own interpretations of the clues. The author holds you in suspense and challenges you to unravel the mystery as only a detective could. Working the case becomes your primary goal from the first chapter to the final page.

Laura, Thanks for allowing me to read your books. They were wonderful. I couldn't put either one down until I finished. As on writer to another, keep up the good work. I can't wait to see what is to come with the next one.

I just wanted to tell you I love the book Just Love Me. The suspence was killing me, the romance was amazing, Hawaii sounds so beautiful the way you explain it. I was so into this book that there were times I felt like I was there. And finally the ending was very surprising. LOVED IT !!! I'm started Cops Daughter. I'll let you know, so far so good.

I wanted to let you know that I have read your story Just Love Me. I come from a police family myself and enjoyed reading it. I can sympathize with Christen. My husband is retired from the State Police. He was injured on the job and the guy was charged with attempted murder. He was put away for many years. I am sure you are probably hoping I just shut up but he shot the guy and the bullet went through the car door and lost most of it momentum and when it hit him, he was just bruised. He had the bullet on him when he was arrested. I look forward to many more books with you. I want to read Cop's Daughter: Victoria.
